In the transition away from fossil energy, use of renewable energy is gaining more importance. Agricultural businesses have a high demand as well space for installation energies, such photovoltaic systems (PV). However, with growing difference between electricity prices and feed-in tariffs, profitability increasingly depends on share self-consumption. Farmers who want to invest in PV system are facing challenge which configuration they should buy. To determine optimal size orientation system, an optimization problem can be formulated maximizes profit after 20 years. The cost function composed net present value (NPV), takes into account investment maintenance costs, sales profits purchase costs. calculate these, flow one year hourly resolution simulated.
